Before a cheerful kid, mirrors a serious old man.
Grounded under weightless favours, can't he repay.
Home host homed a few, home few,
on a snowy day.
Gliding over roofs, once he wrote,
made housing his own words.
No shadow sunlight groomed,
warm bridal air ballad.
Hallways, roamed rooms,
to a few steps narrowed.
Deepening, alight swallow,
head held high, lamp aglow.
Ain’t bonfire mistress missing?
Along the line, dine a fine shrine.
Welcome to Hell's Kitchen—
grilled sandwiches cooking cyanide,
burned food, dead agonies, full meal,
whipped despair on starch base—
fool meal, dessert awaiting.
Icy water in blue days,
waiting bath, regret water.
Post-insomniac asleep, dreammine;
wakefulness stabbed mind.
Wilted wounds, hindsight, no further divisions.
I may never finish this.
